As a broke ass bachelor, I never have any real food to cook with, so when struck with hunger, I had to improvise.
I had the following ingredients...
Bacon
Bread
Peanut Butter
Cheese
Bananas
Not much to make food out of...but I still had to eat.
I finally decided to throw it all together, even going as far as putting some brown sugar on the bacon to caramelize it, which turned out...odd.
After creating the abomination sandwich, it was so sweet it was all I could taste, and I almost puked.
The point being, sometimes messing around can turn out well, but if you have a set of ingredients like I have, just stay the hell away from them.
Oh god, I would have just stuck with the bacon, bread and cheese!
ReplyDeleteStill.... you learn from mistakes I guess.
O,o that doesn't sound good at all lol
ReplyDeleteI would have rapped the banana in bacon and fried it. ahah
ReplyDeleteOh damn! I should have tried that! I'm going to have to.
ReplyDeleteTake Bacon and cheese and wrap that together and cook. Nice little protein meal there. Eat the peanut butter with the banannas. Its bomb. Use the bread to make a p-nut butter and banana sandwich. Same goes with the bacon and cheese.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Dat Squid, bacon is good.
ReplyDeleteYou should of made two different sandwiches. Bacon and Cheese. Bananas and Peanut Butter.
ReplyDeleteI would have just eaten the bacon. :P Next time you make something, I hope it doesnt turn out like this.
ReplyDeleteThat seems about as healthy as dropping a claymore in your bowel system.
ReplyDeleteNext time, just mix it in a pot. Liquidize it and chug. Perfect broke breakfast!
Lintire, that literally made me want to die it sounds so bad. Like it would be rotten or something for some reason.
ReplyDeleteSometime my favourite thing to eat is a bagel with strawberry jam and cheese. You can get a liter of strawberry jam for like 6 bucks and a brick of cheese for like 8 and a pack of bagels for like 6. Super tasty.
ReplyDeletelol that sandwhich sounds bad and you are right to feel bad about it.
ReplyDeleteI literally stopped reading as I read the word bacon.
ReplyDeleteI think it's just awesome, and a shame to have that rare in our location.
But we have lots of pork though :)
You don't have bacon? How does that work? Where do you live?
ReplyDeletemaybe some milk would help you with the sweetness, but then you can't go wrong with bacon
ReplyDeletehahaha i guess there can be too much of a good thing
ReplyDeleteLOL makes me feel sick with all those ingredients being thrown in. Man you need to learn to cook or get a woman to help you out :P
ReplyDeleteCracked me up, and made me lose my appetite.
ReplyDeleteMike I could never agree more. I have been a cook failure my whole life, and every time I find a lady I am so pumped and I end up gaining 10 pounds eating actual food while we are together.
ReplyDeleteThis one time in college I lived off of instant mashed potatoes for a week. I felt terrible, and weak.
ReplyDeleteLMAO, why would you do that?! :P
ReplyDeleteBacon and Bread goes well. As does peanut butter, banana and break. Give it a try sometime me, my girlfriend's a vegetarian.
ReplyDeleteBacon and anything go good. I personally would have made a peanut butter and bananna sandwich, those are delicious (especially with nutella).
ReplyDeleteHahaha as a broke college student... I've learned to make a million things with Ramon noodles lol
ReplyDeleteWow that musta tasted awful...
ReplyDeletegood point btw
